Gold filled jewellery is made by mechanically bonding a thick, solid layer of gold to a base metal core, such as brass using heat and pressure. It contains at least 5% of it's total weight in gold making it a durable and affordable alternative to solid gold.
It will remain shiny and bright far longer than gold plated jewellery, most often for many years.
